Federal Government Plans To Blame Environmentalists For What Could Be Worst U.S. Environmental Disaster In History

It's not surprising that the Bush administration is now trying to focus the blame for the levy failures that resulted in the flooding of NOLA to environmental groups. The same tactic seemed to work well after 9/11 after Al Queda attacked the U.S. they managed to shift the blame from a group of Saudis to the Iraqi government, which had nothing to do with the attack and nothing to do with Al Queda. What resulted was an illegal war that has tarnished the U.S. image across the world and resulted in record financial debt. One can only imagine that they will use this opportunity to launch a full scale war on environmentalism and given their track record it's not hard to guess what the outcome will be - Environmental Bankruptcy.

E-mail suggests government seeking to blame groups

"Federal officials appear to be seeking proof to blame the flood of New Orleans on environmental groups, documents show.

The Clarion-Ledger has obtained a copy of an internal e-mail the U.S. Department of Justice sent out this week to various U.S. attorneys' offices: "Has your district defended any cases on behalf of the (U.S.) Army Corps of Engineers against claims brought by environmental groups seeking to block or otherwise impede the Corps work on the levees protecting New Orleans? If so, please describe the case and the outcome of the litigation."
